This policy explains how DAN Entertainment handles information in the Aux Battlez iOS app and the services that operate it. Apple separately governs its own services, including the App Store, Sign in with Apple, and the iTunes Search service.
01
Information we handle
Aux Battlez creates an authentication identity so the app can authorize gameplay, restore a session, and associate your profile with game activity. We process internal account, profile, player, room, round, pick, and vote identifiers. You may provide a display name and select an avatar, color, or cosmetic. The app also keeps your Aux Battlez account ID, coin balance, owned and equipped cosmetics, favorites, and gameplay statistics.
Multiplayer battles require room codes and status, player roster and presence, prompts, song picks, votes, scores, deadlines, and timestamps. People in the same room can see the names, gameplay activity, and short supported room messages needed to play.
When you search for music, your query is sent to Apple's iTunes Search service to return song results. Aux Battlez does not keep a separate search-history profile. If you favorite or play a song, we may keep its Apple track ID, title, artist, artwork, preview, and store links as part of that favorite or battle. A favorite may retain the submitting player's display name for attribution, or a generic deleted-player label after that player deletes their account. Preview audio is played from URLs provided by Apple; Aux Battlez does not record your microphone or read your Apple Music library.
When first-party app-functionality analytics is enabled, we may record bounded product interactions such as app sessions, room and round milestones, shop views, playback attempts or failures, and cosmetic actions. Those events can include internal profile, session, room, or request identifiers; app version and build; environment; timestamps; and a limited set of structured game or shop properties. They do not include search queries, song metadata, room-message text, names, email addresses, advertising identifiers, Apple credentials, or free-form error messages.
If you buy coins, Apple handles payment details. Aux Battlez may receive and retain purchase and transaction identifiers, product information, purchase status, and the account binding needed to verify the purchase and credit coins. We do not receive your card or bank-account details.
The app does not use an advertising identifier, location, contacts, health data, camera or photo library, microphone capture, or cross-app tracking. This release does not serve third-party ads or initialize the bundled AppLovin MAX integration. The app does not configure a separate third-party analytics, attribution, or crash-reporting service. It uses only the bounded first-party app-functionality events described above when they are enabled by the service.
02
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- authenticate and authorize the app;
- create, join, synchronize, and finish multiplayer battles;
- show profiles, rosters, prompts, song choices, favorites, cosmetics, coin balances, and results;
- verify purchases and prevent invalid or duplicate account and economic operations;
- protect the service and troubleshoot problems; and
- process account and privacy requests.
04
Retention and account deletion
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to run Aux Battlez, maintain game and purchase integrity, protect the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Room codes expire by default after 12 hours. Other records have different lifecycles based on their purpose.
You can request account deletion from the Account section in Settings when the in-app deletion control is available, or by contacting us. Completed deletion removes or disconnects the user-facing profile, favorites, statistics, cosmetics, gifts, and authored room messages, and signs the account out.
Some information may remain where needed for security, purchase reconciliation, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or the integrity of completed games. Historical gameplay may be pseudonymized. Purchase, reward, spend, wallet-checkpoint, and deletion-completion records may be retained as protected audit records. Residual copies can remain in encrypted backups until their normal replacement cycle completes.
05
Your choices
You can edit your display name, manage favorites, and use the account controls available in the app. To ask for access, correction, or deletion that you cannot complete in the app, email us from an address where you can receive our reply. We may ask for information needed to verify that the request concerns your account, but we will never ask for your Apple ID password or device passcode.
06
Security
We use authenticated requests, account and room access controls, server-side purchase verification, and restricted service access to protect information. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
07
Children
The App Store assigns age ratings by country or region. Aux Battlez is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
